Metropolitan police detectives are appealing for information after an 18-year-old boy was stabbed on Alpha Road, Lewisham, South East London on Saturday night.

At around 23:50hrs on Saturday, 27 November Metropolitan Police Officers and London ambulance services were called to the scene following reports of a stabbing on Alpha Road, Lewisham. On arrival, an 18-year-old boy was found suffering from stab wounds. The victim was rushed to the hospital and is believed to be in a non-life-threatening condition.

Metropolitan Police officers (South East CID) are investigating the incident, they believe that the victim was at a huge party that was taking place in the area before the incident.

Detectives are asking those who were at the same party as the victim and noticed anything suspicious to contact them. The party was attended by a large number of people, so we believe some of the people could have witnessed the incidents that may have led to the stabbing.

Detective Constable Lottie Williams said “It is really important that we speak to anyone who attended the same party as the victim to fully understand the sequence of events that let up to this incident”.

If you are one of the people who might have witnessed the incidents leading to the stabbing or have information that may help with the investigation please contact Metropolitan Police Department on 101 and quote crime reference CAD 7807/27Nov.

We know some people might have some information but are uncomfortable calling the police themselves, if you are one of them you can contact an independent charity Crime Stoppers and they will pass the information to the police for you anonymously. They don’t record any of your personal information so you can say anything and it will never be traced back to you.
