Police are urgently seeking a 35-year-old man, James Bex, in connection with a serious sexual assault on an elderly woman at her home in Notting Hill Gate. The attack occurred on Friday, December 23rd between 9:00pm and 10:00pm, as the victim, who is in her 70s, was returning to her home on Ledbury Road W11.
Detective Inspector Samir Daoud of the Central West Command Unit has stated that the victim is receiving support and has urged the public not to approach Bex, but to call 999 if they see him.
“We are providing continued support to the victim following this incident. We have identified James Bex as someone we urgently need to speak to. He should not be approached by members of the public; anyone who sees him should call 999 immediately,” said Detective Inspector Daoud.
