Metropolitan police have re-released the CCTV footage of men they would like to talk to following a brutal attack in Croydon. Last year on the 1st of July at around 01:30hrs emergency services were called to the scene after a 40 year old man was brutally attacked by a group of men. He was taken to the hospital but left after treatment, two weeks later, the victim died, the cause of his death is still not established.
Detective Constable Jo Cheung said “we do know that those who launched the vicious attack on him must be brought to account for their part in the last weeks of his life“. Metropolitan Police have re-released the CCTV footage of the man wanted in connection to the assault, a similar appeal was made before but the suspects were never identified.
It has been over a year since the incident happened yet these man never had any consequences for their actions, we know someone out there knows who these people are and We hope they do the right thing and identify them. What they did might or might not be the cause of the victim’s death but what they did was still wrong and they need to be punished for their actions.
