Hammersmith, London – Detectives are calling for witnesses following a severe road traffic collision involving a delivery van and a pedestrian on Talgarth Road, Hammersmith. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, October 30, has left a woman hospitalized with serious injuries.

According to a statement released by the Metropolitan Police, the London Ambulance Service alerted police to the accident at approximately 12:50 PM. The collision took place on a service road outside The Ark, a prominent building in the W6 area.

Emergency responders arrived swiftly, providing initial medical assistance before transporting the injured woman to the hospital. Her condition remains serious, though no further details have been released regarding her current status.

The driver of the van, who remained at the scene following the incident, is cooperating fully with the investigation. Authorities have confirmed that the driver has not been arrested.

The case is now being handled by detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command, who are working to understand the circumstances leading up to the accident.
